On Friday 3 May at the Qatar National Convention Center's Theatre, 41 Arab children, who together make up Siwar - the Al Jazeera Children's Channel (JCC) choir, will take part in a live concert alongside the MDR Leipzig Radio Children's Choir.

Joining the two choirs will be composers and musicians Pedro Eustache and Michel Fadel, plus German soprano Felicitas Fuchs.

The concert starts at 7.30pm,  with the organizers asking patrons to arrive by 7pm.

According to Haya bint Khalifa Al Nassr, Acting Director and General Manager of Al Jazeera Children's Channel recently said: "Ever since JCC launched the Siwar choir, its objective has been to provide talented children with the opportunity to explore the rich Arabic heritage through its diverse musical repertoire. Today, we are proud to see Arab talents performing the best of famous international music titles with worid-renowned musicians."

Tickets, costing between QR50 and QR200, are available through Virgin Megastore.
